Featuring a classic and elegant design, this slender handmade mezuzah case is adorned with intricate filigree ornaments. At the top of the case is the Hebrew letter Shin, representing ‘Shaddai,’ one of God’s names. It also symbolizes ‘Shomer,’ meaning protection. A filigree belt in the center secures the case while also serving as an attachment to the doorframe. Inside, the kosher scroll is safely protected
The blessing on the small parchment scroll is inscribed by hand and can be purchased separately. The holy texts are written from Deuteronomy 6:4–9 to fulfill the mitzvah (Biblical commandment) to “write the words of God on the gates and doorposts of your house”.
