This handmade necklace is faithfully styled after the original design from the early 20th century named “lazem” often worn by Jewish brides. This particular necklace was worn attached at the headdress of the wedding outfit of Yemenite brides from Sanaa and wrapped around the chin. Old coral was a representation of everlasting beauty. The square plaques are decorated with filigree and alternating with rows of stringed silver beads. Stunning, exotic, and very impressive. Choose from silver or gold overlay. Available in with or without coral beads. Made in Israel.
